Ontario Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) comprise over 36% of the overall Canadian SME Industry. An SME is defined as having up to 500 employees and includes both public and private companies. It is estimated that the SME contribution to GDP stands at approximately 45% and it provides 53% of the total employment of the Province.
Financial Executives International (FEI) Canada�s Hamilton and Toronto Chapters present a first ever full day SME Conference at the Mississauga Convention Center on Friday October 24, 2008. This full day event is intended for senior finance executives, CFO's/CEO's and others associated with the Small and Medium Enterprise landscape. The conference is planned with a mix of plenary sessions, breakout sessions and panel discussions.
