FEI Canada CODE OF ETHICS:

FEI Canada's mission includes significant efforts to promote ethical conduct in the practice of financial management throughout the world. Senior financial officers hold an important and elevated role in corporate governance. While members of the management team, they are uniquely capable and empowered to ensure that all stakeholders' interests are appropriately balanced, protected and preserved. This Code provides principles to which members are expected to adhere and advocate. They embody rules regarding individual and peer responsibilities, as well as responsibilities to employers, the public, and other stakeholders. Violations of FEI Canada's Code of Ethics may subject the member to censure, suspension or expulsion under procedural rules adopted by FEI Canada's Board of Directors.

 

FEI Canada Membership Terms and Conditions:

Memberships belong to the individual and are not transferable. Memberships are valid for twelve months from the member's anniversary month. All members must adhere to the FEI Canada Code of Ethics. Violations of FEI Canada's Code of Ethics may subject the member to censure, suspension or expulsion under procedural rules adopted by FEI Canada's Board of Directors.

All members of FEI Canada will:

  • Act with honesty and integrity, avoiding actual or apparent conflicts of interest in personal and professional relationships.
  • Provide constituents with information that is accurate, complete, objective, relevant, timely and understandable.
  • Comply with applicable rules and regulations of federal, state, provincial, and local governments, and other appropriate private and public regulatory agencies.
  • Act in good faith, responsibly, with due care, competence and diligence, without misrepresenting material facts or all owing one's independent judgment to be subordinated.
  • Respect the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of one's work except when authorized or otherwise legally obligated to disclose. Confidential information acquired in the course of one's work will not be used for personal advantage.
  • Share knowledge and maintain skills important and relevant to constituents' needs.
  • Proactively promote ethical behavior as a responsible partner among peers, in the work environment and the community.
  • Achieve responsible use of and control over all assets and resources employed or entrusted.
  • Report known or suspected violations of this Code in accordance with the FEI Rules and Procedure.
  • Be accountable for adhering to this Code.

 

FEI Canada Event Terms and Conditions:

FEI Canada is responsible for personal information under its control. Collection of personal information by our event registration system will be limited to what is necessary for the purposes of registration for the event.
When we use trusted third parties to act on our behalf by performing such functions as name badge production, processing credit card payments or providing customer service, contractual or other appropriate means are used to ensure compliance by such third parties with this policy and all applicable privacy laws.
Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, to process the registration data to a given event.
We will keep your personal information as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.
The Policy is subject to PIPEDA and/or any other applicable privacy.
Official confirmation of registration will be provided by email by the event registration system, after your payment has been processed.

Specific Event Terms and Conditions:
All event registration fees are fully refundable if notified two weeks or more before the event. Fees are not refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks notice.  .No shows" at events, will not receive a refund.  Registrations can be transferred at any time by submitting a written request to the FEI Canada (National office) at feicanada@feicanada.org. There is a $75 processing fee for cancellation request related to the annual conference.
EXCEPTIONS: Please see the disclaimer notice for cancellation and refund policy for specific individual events.
FEI Canada reserves the right to cancel events at any time prior to the scheduled date; in this case, our liability is limited to a full refund of the registration fee.

Webinars and Breakfast Seminars Cancellation Policy . Written notice of cancellation must be sent to FEI Canada.s (National Office) at feicanada@feicanada.org at least 3 business days prior to the event to obtain a refund.
