Created in 2011, the Les As de la finance Awards recognize the professional accomplishments and community contributions of Québec’s most outstanding senior financial executives.

The Les As de la finance 2026 Awards are officially launched!

FEI Canada’s Québec Chapter is proud to launch the 16th edition of the Les As de la finance Awards. Senior financial executives working in Québec are invited to submit their applications starting today.

The Awards

Created in 2011, the Les As de la finance Awards recognize the professional accomplishments and the community involvement of Québec’s senior financial leaders.

Award Categories

• Senior Financial Executive – Large Enterprise
  Annual revenue over $500M or more than 1,000 employees. Nominees must have held their position for at least two (2) years.
• Senior Financial Executive – Small or Medium Enterprise
• Emerging Financial Leader*
  *Nominees must be 40 years old or younger at the application deadline and must not be the organization’s senior-most financial executive. They may report to the CFO in roles such as treasury, corporate control, taxation, or divisional finance.

Key Dates

• February 12, 2026 – Application deadline
• April 1, 2026 – Official announcement of finalists (news wire + La Presse)
• May 6, 2026 – Gala evening and announcement of winners

Honorary Chair 2026

FEI Canada’s Québec Chapter is honoured to announce that the 2026 edition of the Les As de la finance Awards will be presented under the honorary chairmanship of Mr. Laurent Ferreira, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank.

Leading the institution since 2021, Mr. Ferreira has built an impressive career since joining in 1998, holding several strategic roles in the Financial Markets division.

Deeply involved in the community, he sits on the Boards of the CH Group and the Business Council of Canada. He also supports several major philanthropic campaigns, including the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation, the YWCA Montréal and Centraide of Greater Montréal.

Tribute Award 2026

The 2026 Tribute Award will be presented to Ms. Geneviève Brouillette, corporate director, in recognition of her outstanding career and her significant contribution to the advancement of Québec’s financial sector.

With more than 35 years of experience in finance and management, Ms. Brouillette served as Chief Financial Officer of the Aldo Group and held key roles at major organizations including Keurig Dr Pepper, St-Hubert and Kraft Foods.
