Committee on Corporate Reporting

The Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR) focuses on issues relating to financial accounting, audit, and corporate reporting.

It puts FEI Canada members on the inside track concerning the activities of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB), and those activities of the Auditing and Assurance Board that directly affect FEI Canada members. The CCR also maintains a close relationship with regulatory bodies, including the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).

The committee regularly provides input to these bodies on issues affecting FEI Canada members.

For example, CCR meets with senior members of the AcSB and the CSA on a semi-annual basis to discuss matters of interest, including new initiatives of those bodies and concerns of committee members.
