VOLUNTEER AT FEI CANADA

FEI Canada members have a number of ways they can get involved. From contributing to the overall direction of the organization, to helping shape programming for local events, our members play a vital role in making FEI Canada the premier association for senior financial executives across Canada.

NATIONAL ROUNDTABLES

FEI Canada policy roundtables draw upon members’ experience and expertise to shape and influence policy at both the provincial and federal levels.

National/Chapter Boards and Committees

At the chapter level, help to shape local programming, sponsorship and membership initiatives, along with taking on important chapter board director roles. Joining a chapter, national board, or committee provides you the opportunity to work with a group of like-minded member volunteers working together to promote and serve FEI Canada members.

At the national level, serve on a number of committees focused on membership, programming, and/or sponsorship, and help influence Canada-wide activities by participating on the national board.

National Membership Committee

Membership Chairs are required to provide recruitment targets for the fiscal year to the CLC, and are tasked with driving membership recruitment and retention programs within their chapters. Chapter Membership Chairs represent their respective chapters on the National Membership Committee, which meets approximately five times per year.

This committee approves and leads in the execution of membership marketing programs, reviews and provides input to collateral material (new member packages, membership surveys, etc.), and works within their chapter to ensure programming and administrative practices respond effectively to member needs.

Want to contribute, but unable to take on an ongoing role? There are a number of ways to get involved with FEI Canada initiatives on a short-term basis.

• Host a prospective member at an event
• Become a new member ambassador – connect with one or two new members to help them meet members in your chapter
• Write an article for your chapter newsletter
• Identify and contact potential speakers for chapter events
• Lend a hand at FEI Canada social events, including golf and networking events
